“I created this foundation as a meeting place for culture and learning that can transmit and deepen the different sciences in the arts. An organism allowing the sharing of ideas and proportioning an area where humans can explore freedom of expression and excellence.”

The foundation’s headquarters are situated in the Villa Alcarreña in the town of Tendilla (Castilla-La Mancha). Once housing the local municipal health clinic, the restored building is surrounded by pinewood hills and guarded by the ruins of the Jeronimo de Santa Ana monastery, itself constructed between the XIV and XV centuries. The environment reflects the peace and quiet required for the artist to pursue his future works.

The same villa was once the home of his paternal family, further deepening the sculptor’s bond with the location and reception of his artistic heritage.

The Foundation’s main goals are to preserve the artist’s collection, facilitate the study, diffusion and promotion of his artistic heritage and creative legacy, as well as archiving his works from the past 50 years.

Kieff’s work is the result of both deep reflection and the search for different universes. They are enriched by the passing of time and conceived in balance, rhythm and tempo both literature and music have granted him.
